Who we are

Hodn (حضن) helps a mother, a father and the people who help them log feeds, sleep and diapers together. Contact: [email protected]

What we keep on our servers

• Your account: you sign in with Apple. We receive an identifier unique to Hodn and your first name if Apple shares it. We don't ask for your email.
• You in the family: the name you type for the log, and who you are to the baby (mother, father, grandmother, aunt, nanny, nursery).
• The baby: name, birth or due date, boy or girl if you choose, feeding plan, and the feed reminder if you turn it on.
• The log: feeds (time, side, amount, kind of milk), sleep, diapers, your notes, and who logged each one.
• Family arrangements: the night rota and invite links.

We keep it only to show it to you and your family in the app.

What stays on your phone only

Your city (for the sky on the Home screen), sound settings, and your sign-in session, encrypted with its key in the iPhone Keychain. We don't ask for your location, contacts, photos or microphone.

Who sees your data

• Your family only: the people you invite with a link.
• Our service providers: Supabase (database and accounts; servers in Frankfurt, Germany) and Apple (sign-in and app distribution). They process data on our behalf only.
• We don't sell your data, we don't give it to advertisers, and the app has no analytics or tracking tools.
• If a public authority requires it by law, we comply and give the minimum needed.

How we protect it

All traffic is encrypted. Each family is isolated by rules inside the database, so nobody outside it can read or write it. Invite links are long and random, work once, expire after 7 days and can be cancelled.

Deleting your data

• In the app: More → Delete account. Your account is deleted at once and Hodn's Sign in with Apple is revoked.
• If you're the family's only parent, the baby's log is deleted with you (the app warns you first). If there's another parent, the log stays with them and your entries stay without your name.
• We keep data while the account exists. After deletion it's removed from the database and from backups within 30 days at most.
• Ask for a copy or deletion at [email protected].

Your rights

You can access, correct, delete or get a copy of your data under Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law. Write to [email protected]; we reply within 30 days.

Children, and medical advice

Hodn is for parents and the people who help them, not for children; the baby's details are entered by the family. Hodn helps you remember and share; it isn't a substitute for your paediatrician.

The website and changes

hodn.app has no cookies and no ads; Cloudflare hosts it and, like any host, keeps basic technical logs to protect it. If we change this policy in an important way, we'll tell you in the app first.
